Michael John Auld (1954–2025) was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and later lived in Namibia for 16 years with his beloved wife Anthea, where their children Cassandra and Matthew were born. A man of deep Christian faith, Michael was devoted to his family and shared a close bond with his brothers, Keith and Rankin. He had a lifelong love of all sports — especially rugby, cricket, tennis, golf, darts, Formula 1, hockey, and athletics — and in his younger years played hockey himself. He also enjoyed fishing, finding peace in the quiet beauty of nature. Michael will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom, humour, and the love he gave so freely to all who knew him
