Born on May 22nd, 1958, in Takwa, Ghana, Philomena Thompson was the cherished daughter of Madam Mary Baidoo and Samuel Francis Dadzie. Philomena attended The Weweso Metropolitan Authority School where she excelled academically and engaged in various extracurricular activities. Her educational journey was marked by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to positively impact her community.

Throughout her life, Philomena demonstrated remarkable versatility and ambition. Professionally, she worked as a Healthcare professional for the NHS, taking care of people for over 30 years.

Philomena was a dedicated mother of three children and an amazing grandmother to twin boys. She instilled in them values of hard work, compassion, and resilience. Her role as a mother was central to her identity, and she always prioritized her family's well-being. She loved to sing and dance. Her laughter could light up any room, her conversations could turn strangers into friends, and her wisdom, drawn from her life experience and lessons, inspired all who had the blessing of knowing her.

With a heart overflowing with love and a life devoted to faith, Philomena was a beacon of kindness and grace. A faithful servant of the Church, she lived with unwavering devotion, offering her time, wisdom, and warmth to all who knew her.

To her children, grandchildren, siblings, church community, and friends, she leaves a legacy of love—a love that will never fade, a love that lives on in the stories shared, the lives she touched, and the faith she carried so beautifully. Though she now rests in the arms of the Lord, her incredible spirit remains with us, guiding, loving, and reminding us of the beauty of a life well-lived.

Philomena’s legacy continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
