Rodger was born in Singapore. He was the first born of Tom and Pamela and soon followed by brother, Jeremy and sister, Penny.

After an idyllic tropical childhood he attended boarding schools at Stancliffe Hall in Derbyshire, UK and then Shiplake College near Henley-on-Thames.

It was here that his love of all sports developed. Swimming, Hockey, Cricket and Snow Skiing were his specialties. As he retired from

the active team sports he took up golf with great success. His name appears on the Honours Boards at Harleyford Golf Club with significant regularity.

“Rodge” will be hugely missed by a huge group of friends and the family will never be able to fill the void that is left
