This live stream will commence on Tuesday 23rd November 2021

Vince came to England from County Clare, Eire, in the autumn of 1955. He worked for the engineering company ‘Babcock and Wilcox’ installing boilers into the ‘Carpet Trades’ factory in Kidderminster, where he met Pat, who worked as a carpet designer.

A keen sportsman, Vince played football for Regent Oil Company at weekends and competed for Kidderminster Athletics Club.

They married in February 1958 at St Ambrose Roman Catholic Church on the Birmingham Road in Kidderminster, then moved to Sutton Coldfield and had their five children, Clare, Catherine, Caroline, Vincent and Tara.

In 1977 the family moved to Coventry where the children grew up and some went on to have children of their own. Vince and Pat have enjoyed being fully involved in the lives of their grandchildren, Charlotte, Matthew, Lily, Leo, Charlie and Finn.

Vince led a long and happy life surrounded by the people he loved and who loved him.
